Tour Summary

This fantastic, fun and exciting mostly downhill ride has spectacular views along the way. With a drop of over 1,000 vertical metres descent in 20 km’s. Starting at the alpine Ski Village at 1,450 metres above sea level, this awesome trip takes you down the spectacular scenic zig zag Jacobs Ladder road before we hit old four wheel drive tracks through the old logged eucalyptus forests. There is also sections of awesome single-track in between the old four wheel drive tracks for those who want a little adventure or excitement. We finish this amazing ride at the bottom of this huge mountain at 400 metres above sea level.

Itinerary

Day 1 Launceston (A) to Ben Lomond (B)

This not to be missed day adventure starts with a drive from Launceston to the summit of Ben Lomond. Once at the summit your guide will take you on a short walk to the summit of this impressive mountain. After your walk enjoy a morning tea/ coffee break before we saddle up for a fun ride down this mountain starting with the exhilarating Jacobs Ladder descent before we turn off down and hit the old dirt roads and single tracks. Take the easy or harder way down knowing that we will be supporting you all the way down. At the bottom enjoy a nice relaxing lunch before the drive back to Launceston with a huge smile on your face.
