We use modern comfortable Toyota commuter mini bus’s for our tours. They are comfy, have plenty of room and air conditioned.
We tow a purpose built mountain bike trailer that holds the bikes securely and has very easy side access for getting your MTB on and off efficiently and safely
On our touring and single track tours your days cycling is broken up into 2main rides, One long ride in the morning from 30-60 km then one ride in the afternoon of about 20-30 km.
On our downhill tours we run unlimited shuttle service so you can go up and down as much as time and the itinerary permits.
You sure can. One of the our unique points with our tours is that we let you cycle at your own distance and own pace. As soon as you have had enough you just pull over and wait for the support bus and get in. Cycling is not mandatory. You decide how far to ride.
Usually we get up around 7:00 am to make the most of the morning conditions. We need plenty of time to enjoy the days activity at a nice enjoying pace

One of the most important pieces of information on our site. Under Australian consumer laws we need to have a terms and conditions policy. This policy covers the consumer (you) and the seller (us) and forms the contract between you and us. We have made our policy easy to read, clear, fair and lawful. Its simple just find your ideal tour and click on the blue booking button and fill out the easy, quick and secure online booking form.
When you a book tour with us you will receive an email about your booking. If you paid a deposit at the time of booking then your booking is automatically approved, but if you decide to pay via direct bank transfer then your booking is not approved until the deposit funds have been received by us. Once funds have been cleared you will receive a confirmation email.
Our awesome online booking system lets you sign up for a account so that you can log in at any time and see your “bookings”, “invoices” and “payments”. You can even submit “reviews” and add tour to a “wish list” plus heaps more. Its a great tool.
You sure can, simply jump online and log into your account and change the booking.
We know that sometimes things don’t plan out so you are able to cancel your booking. You are able to cancel at anytime. Please see our booking terms and conditions section “tour cancellation by you” for a full explanation of how to and any fees.
Yes. The cancellation fee can vary and the amount is set according to how far out you cancel before the tour departure date. Please see our booking terms and conditions for our cancellation fee’s and conditions.
Because we offer both touring and downhill/single track we recommend using, a hardtail for the touring tours and a dual suspension for the downhill and single track tours.
Yes you can
Yes you can hire one from us. We use quality modern Trek mountain bikes only. We have both touring (3×9 speed 29 inch hardtail) and downhill (1×11 speed 27.5 inch dual suspension) bikes available for hire.
Bike hire costs are: 1. Hardtail MTB, from $45 per day (for day tours) or up to $250 max (for a multi-day tours). 2. Dual Suspension MTB, from $65 per day (for day tours only) or up to $450 max (for a multi-day tours)
Yes we have Shimano SPD clip in type peddles available for hire. The cost is only $25 for the duration of the tour.
Yes you can. We will fit any seat or peddles for you onto our hire bike and set you all up.
If you prefer a bit of extra comfort then we have premium wide padded seats available to hire. The cost is only $20 for the duration of the tour.
We offer a number of fast and secure payment options. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal and direct bank deposit.
You need to pay a 20% deposit upon booking. Once a deposit is received by us we will approve and confirm you booking
All tour booking balances are due in full 30 days out from the tour departure date. A reminder email will be sent.
You can sign into your account on our site at anytime and check your tour booking payments made and balance
Unfortunately yes we do. We are only a small family owned business and get charged this fee by the banks. To keep our tour prices low we need to pass on this small fee. Thanks for understanding, if you are paying by credit card the fee is 1.7% and for PayPal the fee is 2.6%. There is no fee for direct bank transfers.
Yes all accommodation is included in our tour price
The type of accommodation differs from tour to tour and different packages are available within the tour. We have the standard accomodation package staying in mainly in local small country motels/hotels/cottages (on a twin share basis with a single supplement upgrade available). We also offer a budget package were we stay at lodges, bunkhouse style budget rooms on certain tours (great choice for the budget conscious cyclist).
Yes we sure do. We offer single supplement on every tour were we can. Simply select the “single supplement” tour package on booking
No we don’t unless both guests request to share the same room
Most of our accomodation will have room ensuite bathroom facilities but occasionally some accommodation might have seperate shared bathrooms.
Yes, most nights on our standard packages our accomodation rooms will come with made beds with clean linen. Our budget accomodation packages have no bedding supplied but we will supply you with a cleaned sleeping bag and liner at no extra cost for the duration of the tour.
All breakfasts (continental or full breakfast ), lunches (cold meats, fresh salads , bred ,wraps and condiments) and morning teas (tea, coffee and cake) are included. Cycling snacks, fruit, water and cordial (drink flavour) are also included on every tour. Dinners are not included unless stated in itinerary.
Yes we sure do. When you book online it will ask you if you require a vegetarian or gluten free meals.
A fresh daily continental style breakfast is provided
We supply morning tea daily usually at about 10 am once the morning ride is complete. Tea, coffee with fresh milk, cake and fruit is served.
A fresh and healthy assortment of cold meats, salad served with bread, wraps and condiments is provided.
Most dinners are included, please see tours specific itinerary for info. Dinners consist of 2 course meals at restaurants, pubs and guide cooked meals. If dinner is not included then close by facilities will be available to get something.
We supply unlimited drinking water and cordial (drink flavour) on all tours.
For Derby area trails – Uplift shuttles depart from the carpark circle opposite the main Derby trailhead.
For Weldborough area trails – Uplift shuttles depart from the carpark at the Weldborough Pub.

If you are running late for your booked shuttle service please text your name & estimated arrival to 043 769 6060 and we will try to fit you on the next available shuttle.
All our shuttle services still operate during inclement weather as long as the trails are officially open. *Please note certain trails may be closed at short notice due to maintenance or weather.
This new service allows riders to ride all afternoon at derby for $40. Price includes unlimited Black Stump trail head uplift shuttles after 12. There are 5 black stump trailhead afternoon departure times: 12.30, 2.30, 3.30, 4.30 & 5.30pm. Amazing value at $8 per shuttle.
Yes, all our shuttle buses have a quality bike pump that you can use.
